Southdown Radio – General Competition Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all competitions, giveaways, and promotions (referred to collectively as “competitions”) run by Southdown Radio, unless otherwise stated in the specific competition terms.
1. Eligibility
- Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over unless otherwise stated.
- Employees of Southdown Radio, their immediate families, and any person directly connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.
- Southdown Radio reserves the right to verify eligibility.
2. Entry Rules
- Only one entry per person unless the specific promotion states otherwise.
- Entries must be made as instructed in the competition announcement.
- Entries received after the stated closing date will not be considered.
- No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, delayed, or corrupted due to any technical issue.
3. Winner Selection and Notification
- Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries unless a different mechanism is stated in the specific promotion.
- Winners will be contacted via the method they entered (e.g., direct message, email, phone).
- If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, Southdown Radio reserves the right to select another winner.
4. Prizes
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.
- Southdown Radio reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize is unavailable.
- Any costs or expenses not expressly included in the prize description are the responsibility of the winner.
5. Publicity and Data
- By entering, entrants agree that Southdown Radio may use their name, general location, and entry (e.g., social media comment) for promotional purposes.
- Entrant data will be used solely in relation to the competition and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
6. Disqualification
- Southdown Radio reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it reasonably believes is acting contrary to the spirit of the competition or in breach of these terms.
7. Promoter

8. Changes and Cancellation
- Southdown Radio reserves the right to amend these terms or cancel the competition at any time without liability, if circumstances arise outside of its control.
9. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
